I have been working on the safety of Li-ion batteries since 2015, researching the process and hazards of Li-ion battery thermal runaway through experimental testing and the development of computational models. I have experience and interest in the safety of Li-ion batteries at all scales, from cell to pack level, and their use in automotive, marine, stationary BESS and aerospace applications. My reputation has led me to work with OEMs in the automotive industry and be invited to speak at conferences in various industry sectors.
