I was invited to talk at the International Congress of Factory Safety in Ports (22nd-23rd May 2024) to discuss my review paper in the presentation "Causes and Consequences of Li-ion Battery Thermal Runaway - Flammable and Toxic Gas Emission Hazards".

At the UKRI 2024 Cross-Sector Battery Showcase - Advancing Innovation Across Industries, I was invited to be a speaking "innovator" on my expertise in advancing Li-ion battery safety.

At the 2023 Battery Technologies for EV/HEV conference, I was interviewed to give my thoughts on  "Making Automotive Battery Technology Safer Without Sacrificing Energy Density". The interview can be found here in which I discuss how cell-level improvements, system-level improvements and thermal management materials all contribute to safety.
